Art Workshops by Studio Agnew

Professional, One-Time Art Workshops for Groups

Serving Central Florida communities, senior living, homeschool groups, and private organizations

What is an Art Workshop?

Art workshops are single-session, hands-on art experiences designed to introduce a specific medium, technique, or creative concept in a structured yet approachable format.

Unlike ongoing classes, workshops are:

  • Short and self-contained

  • Skill-focused and intentional

  • Designed for exploration, learning, and completion in one session

Each Studio Agnew workshop is led by professional illustrator, designer, and author Lindsay Agnew and balances clear instruction with creative freedom, ensuring participants leave with both a finished piece and new skills.

Demonstration-Led, Artist-Driven Learning

Studio Agnew art workshops follow a demonstration-led teaching model. Lindsay introduces the medium, tools, and techniques through live demonstrations—explaining not just how to do something, but why it works.

Participants then apply what they’ve learned to create their own original artwork within the medium, rather than copying a single step-by-step example. This approach encourages individual expression, creative problem-solving, and a deeper understanding of the creative process.

This method mirrors how artists are trained in professional and academic settings, offering both instruction and creative autonomy.

What Participants Experience

Professional Guidance
Every workshop is led by Lindsay Agnew and grounded in professional-level instruction. Participants receive clear demonstrations, thoughtful explanations, and ongoing support throughout the session.

Creative Exploration
Workshops invite experimentation and curiosity. Participants explore materials, techniques, and ideas while developing confidence in their creative choices—regardless of prior experience.

Meaningful Takeaways
Participants leave with artwork they’re proud of and practical skills they can continue exploring long after the workshop ends.
